BBQ Fundraiser

BrisketSince 1991, Sugar Land Masonic Lodge, local businesses, and private donors have carried on that rich tradition of support by giving over $60,000 in scholarship funds to local area students. Through a wide range of events starting with small dinners of 50 people in the early '90's to extravagant galas of 350+, around 40 high school students have been awarded scholarships. Along with the scholarships, honorariums are also given to the Teachers of the Year from Alief, Stafford, and Fort Bend School Districts in token of our appreciation.

Most recently, the Scholarship Bar-B-Que has adopted a Live and Silent Auction format. These auction items are supplied by local businesses, Texas Masons, and local residents. The Live Auction is a fast-paced event full of thrills and prizes. With a competent auctioneer- many fishing trips, big-screen TVs, autographed memorabilia and other high-interest items have been sold benefiting the Scholarship Fund. The Silent Auction is a good way to contribute as well. Through gift cards, movie tickets, restaurant vouchers, and other interesting finds, many satisfied guests have walked away with that perfect item.

So please come and visit our next fundraising event and help local kids go to college!
